Project Overview
As earthworks continues onsite, the excavated materials have been put to beneficial reuse through the setup of a quarry. A crusher and screen were purchased and an area off the landfill cleared to establish the mobile quarry plant.
Quarry material is supplied to clients after being weighed at the recently constructed weighbridge.
Scope of Work
Scope of works for the quarry set up & operations included but inot limited to:
Earthworks (cutting and pushing material) to clear site near leachate pond for quarry set up
Procurement of crusher & screen
Ramp construction to walk crusher & screen up to current quarry site
Run quarry materials through crusher and screen
Collect samples and send off for testing.
Stockpile approved material and supply to clients.
10,500 tonnes of material were produced and delivered in 2023.
