Project Overview
Total Waste Management successfully completed a project to set-up a site laboratory capable to test parameters required for to verify the potability of drinking water and regulatory compliance of wastewater discharges into to the environment.
The site laboratory is equipped to test physical, chemical and microbiological parameters. It has both in-situ and laboratory set-up testing equipment to assist plant operators in correcting or adjusting process parameters to alleviate potential conformance or compliance problems.
Scope of Work
Physical properties (parameters) that can be tested: pH, temperature, turbidity, alkalinity, free and total chlorine, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, dissolved oxygen etc.
Chemical properties (parameters) that can be tested: COD, ammonia nitrogen, nitrates and nitrates.
The laboratory has strong focus on the identification of microbiological constituents in wastewater (filaments, types, micro detection, etc)
